New Earth Resort
New Earth is a resort concept focused on health, yoga, and education, and envisioned for a mountainside site in Costa Rica. The design seeks to embody the ideas of healing and mindfulness by balancing private, introspective spaces with community areas and treatment facilities.
The challenging nature of the terrain and the interconnectedness of the programmatic areas led to a master plan that embodies the physical and spiritual journey of guests. Circular elements, utilized in site planning and architectural forms, serve as an underlying theme that connects to the New Earth experience principles.
Key elements of the resort include an arrival pavilion, learning center, retail marketplace, restaurant, spa, yoga center, and a range of guest accommodations.
